Cricket and batting go hand in hand. When we talk about any batsmen, the number of runs he/she scored is first thing that comes to our mind. Some well-known Batsmen have scored massive amount of runs in the international cricket.

Some Indian batsmen have scored 10000 plus runs in ODI. Sachin Tendulkar- The God of Cricket was the first batsmen who scored 10000 Runs in ODI. Our Dada Sourav Ganguly and the Wall of Indian Cricket Team Rahul Dravid also scored 10000 Runs in ODI.

Other than Indian Cricketers, Kumar Sangakkara, Ricky Ponting, Sanath Jayasuriya, Brian Lara and other great batsmen also scored 10k Runs in ODI. Recently our Captain Cool MS Dhoni joined the elite team. Before Dhoni , Kumar Sangakkara was the only wicketkeeper-batsman to feature in the list of 10000 ODI runs.

Next one in line is our current captain Virat Kohli who is about to score 10000 ODI Runs. He could be the fifth Indian Batsmen after Mahi who can achieve the target in just few upcoming matches. This could possibly happen in either Asia Cup 2018.

Out of the 12 players in the 10000 Runs Club in ODI. Sri Lanka and India have 4 batsmen each apart from them, the group includes batsmen from Australia, Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies. Among the traditional eight cricket giants, only England and New Zealand do not have any batsmen in the 10,000-run club in ODIs.

Many international batsmen like AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla and Rohit Sharma are in line to score 10000 runs in ODI and join the elite team.

The two cricketing legends of Indian Cricket team - Virat and Dhoni

Cricket is of the most passionate and popular sports in the world. In India, Cricket is followed like a religion by the fans. People from all age groups are interested in either watching or playing cricket or doing both.

“Don’t just wear your team’s colors, bleed them”. The ‘Men in Blue’ always work hard to accomplish this motto and make Indian Cricket fans proud. People in India love to discuss cricket and love reading cricket scores and blogs passionately.

The teamwork of Indian cricketers under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni had always been on another level. MS Dhoni always believe that- Talent wins Games, but Teamwork wins Championships. MS Dhoni Biography is the one that everyone should read.

“Champions are made, not born”. This phrase exactly portrays the character of current Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli. The strong hard working Indian cricket team is now captained by Virat Kohli. This legacy has been passed to Virat Kohli by the former captain and now it is his responsibility to carry on this legacy with the same temperament on or off the field.

Virat Kohli, one of the finest and best batsmen in the world is taking the team forward to map future victories on the cricket grounds.

The two cricketing legends of Indian Cricket team - Virat and Dhoni proved themselves time to time. The former Indian Captain MS Dhoni again proved himself recently in IPL 2018 by leading CSK to win IPL title for the third time in the Indian Premier League’s history.

After being retired from the longest format of the game, Dhoni is spending quality time with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva in Ranchi. On the other hand, Virat also proved himself by scoring his 23rd test century of his career in the ongoing test series against England, putting India in a winning position.

The Virat’s 23rd century is his 58th international hundred across formats. Years back, Dhoni’s idol and the god of cricket Sachin Tendulkar also reached his 58th international hundred by playing against the same opponents, i.e. England.

The most popular cricketer of India, MS Dhoni’s retirement from the limited overs cricket is seen has a rumour and the same is confirmed by the Indian cricket team’s coach as well. Indian Cricket fans doesn't want Mahi to retire. Our love and respect for our cricketers could be seen and is worth it as their hard work on ground make us proud. It is completely justified to say that our love for our Cricketers and the Indian cricket team is never ending.
