India has never won a test series down under and this time their chances to win against Australia is quite good as due to the ball-tampering scandal that led to bans on former captain Steve Smith, opener David Warner and batsman Cameron Bancroft.

Hitman Rohit Sharma said, "The last time we came here there were a few close games. We want to make it count this time around. There is really good feeling in the group across all three formats. The motive of the team is to try and seize all the moments and try and win.”

He said when they do well in places like Australia they feel good as a team and winning in places like Australia will provide them with confidence for the World Cup ahead.

Rohit said “Australia has bowlers who are very tall and extract those conditions, use them to their advantage. Indian batsmen generally are not that tall. Obviously, it’s not that easy for us but, again, all the guys are quite determined to change things around this time,”.

He rated Kohli as best batsman across all the three formats of the game. But he feels that Steve Smith is ahead when it comes to the longest format of the game. He also told that in his time, Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar were the two best batsmen.

Shane Warne started his cricketing career in 1990 and ended in 2013. He further added that in this 23 years span, he saw Jaques Kallis, Ricky Ponting, Graham Gooch, Kevin Pietersen, Kumar Sangakkara, and Rahul Dravid and they all were fantastic players.

He then emphasized on the two- Tendulkar and Lara who were much better than the others. He said he is not disrespecting the other great players but these two are class. So Shane Warne considers Virat Kohli as the best batsman in the world.

While former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting who is regarded as one of the greatest batsmen of all time believes that India captain Virat Kohli is currently the best batsman in the world only because Steve Smith is not there.

Here is what God of Cricket feels on MS Dhoni’s Omission from T20I Squad against Windies and Australia

For the first time ever, MS Dhoni has been omitted from the three-match Twenty20 International series against the Windies and Australia. MS Dhoni's omission from the Indian T20I squad has created various questions on the selector's decisions.

Dhoni’s fans think that MS Dhoni is out of form in few matches in recent times that made the selectors do so. On the other hand, Dhoni said that he wanted Rishabh Pant to get more opportunities in the shortest format of the game. So he decided to quit his spot for the youngster.

On Dhoni’s omission, Sachin Tendulkar said, "I don’t know what’s the mindset of the selectors is & I haven’t looked to influence anyone by giving opinions as what happens in dressing room & between captain, coach & selectors should stay within them," He further added, “Whatever they are planning whatever decisions are taken should be in the best interest in the nation."

Master Blaster also had an opinion regarding upcoming India’s tour to Australia. He told that Indian team under Virat Kohli has got what it takes to win a series in Australia. He further told that possibly it’s Team India’s best chance to go out there and beat Australia. If one can see the Australia teams in the past and compare them to this one, then India has a perfect chance.

Sachin Tendulkar was himself a part of many memorable matches in Australian soil. In 2003, he was a part of the Indian team under Sourav Ganguly that drew a Test series. In Perth, Sachin was also a part of the controversial Test series under MS Dhoni where India won a famous Test match.
